Hiking holidays in the Dolomites

Brixner’s High Level Path:

This typical family hiking path above Brixen starts at the mountain station “Kreuztal“ of the gondola lift Plose and leads you through pristine nature. At the Mt. Telegraph, summit hikers can enjoy the astonishing panoramic view – if the weather is clear, you can even see the Sarntal Alps, the Stubai Alps and the Zillertal main ridge. Finally, a visit to the Ochsenalm hut is highly recommendable.

Skihütte – Rossalm circular path
Duration: 2.5–3 hrs | Distance: 5 km | Altitude difference: 100 m

Until the junction of Rossalm mountain inn, the hike to Skihütte is considered to be the first part of the Dolomites Panorama Route. The tour offers far-reaching views of the Mount Peitlerkofel, the Aferer and the Geisler mountains of the Villnöss Valley. The Rossalm hut is a very popular destination for families with children, but also for those who are looking for more demanding mountain hikes in the surroundings.

WoodyWalk
Duration: 1.30 hrs | Distance: 5.1 km | Altitude difference: 160 m

Giant sledge, watermill, hanging bridge and much more – in the midst of nature, the WoodyWalk provides a diversifying, entertaining and informative game offer for the tall and the small. Suitable for strollers too, this path provides in addition some spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. You shouldn’t miss this opportunity to have a picnic or visit the Rossalm hut.

Three Summits Tour
Duration: 5.30 hrs | Distance: 15.1 km | Altitude difference: 840 m

Three summits at one blow, quasi a hole in one: crossing the ridge of the whole Plose alpenstock leads you to Mt. Telegraph with panoramic table, to Mt. Pfannspitz and further on to Mt. Gabler. This day tour for experienced hikers features many particularities, such as panoramic loungers and exceptional views.
